EasyERP is a free, open-source ERP, CRM and HR system for small businesses, written in Node.js with a MongoDB database and published on GitHub under the MIT licence. It launched in 2014 and also sold a hosted SaaS edition. It is no longer maintained: the last code commit is dated 26 January 2018, and its website has been offline since February 2025.
Status checked 30 September 2026: not a current option. There is no vendor to buy from, nobody fixing bugs and no security updates. The code can still be downloaded, but an npm audit of its own lockfile finds 32 critical vulnerabilities in the packages it ships. This page records what EasyERP was, what it cost, what happens if you install it today, and which maintained open-source ERPs replace it.
What is EasyERP?
EasyERP was an open-source business management system that put CRM, sales, projects, HR and payroll, purchasing, inventory, expenses and accounting into one web application. It was aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, and especially at online sellers. Its own homepage, which carried the same text from 2020 until July 2023, described it like this:
EasyERP was formed in 2014 as open source. Today ERP is fast growing IT solution for E-Commerce. It contains CRM, HRM, Purchases, Inventory, Expenses, Reports, Accounting.

Everything was written in JavaScript. The server runs on Node.js with the Express framework, stores its data in MongoDB through the Mongoose library, renders pages with the Swig template engine and needs Redis alongside. The browser side is built on Backbone.js and jQuery. The GitHub account that publishes EasyERP gives its location as Ukraine, and both its Android app (package com.thinkmobiles.easyerp) and its front-end configuration point to ThinkMobiles.
EasyERP at a glance
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Launched | 2014, according to its own website; the public GitHub repository was created on 12 December 2016 |
| Last code change | 26 January 2018 (newest commit on either of the repository’s two branches) |
| Licence | MIT (licence file dated 2017) |
| Technology | Node.js, Express, MongoDB with Mongoose, Redis, Swig templates, Backbone.js and jQuery |
| Deployment | Self-hosted web server that users open in a browser; a hosted SaaS edition was also sold until the site went offline |
| Editions | Open source (free), Cloud SaaS (discontinued), paid support for self-hosted installs (discontinued) |
| Mobile | An Android app, now removed from Google Play; its source was last changed on 6 September 2017 |
| Status | Unmaintained; easyerp.com offline since February 2025 |
Is EasyERP still available?
No. EasyERP can no longer be bought, and the free edition has not been updated since January 2018. These are the checks behind that answer, all run on 30 September 2026:
| What we checked | What we found |
|---|---|
| easyerp.com today | HTTP 522: Cloudflare answers, but cannot reach EasyERP’s own server. The Internet Archive recorded the same 522 from 20 February 2025 onward. |
| easyerp.com history | The last archived product page is from 25 July 2023. By May 2024 the domain served only a default Welcome to nginx! server page. |
| Source code | Last commit 26 January 2018 in EasyERP/EasyERP_open_source. No tagged releases; 237 stars, 201 forks and 15 open issues and pull requests. |
| Android app | Google Play returns not found for com.thinkmobiles.easyerp, the same response as for an app ID that never existed. |
| Runtime it was built for | Node.js 4, which reached end of life on 30 April 2018, and MongoDB 3.0, which reached end of life on 28 February 2018. |
| Dependency security | npm audit on the repository’s own lockfile: 113 vulnerable production packages out of 510, 32 of them rated critical. |
So EasyERP is abandoned software, not a quiet but living project. People still search for it by name, which is why this page now answers what happened instead of describing it as a current product.
Which EasyERP are you looking for?
At least five other products and websites now use almost the same name. We found no link between any of them and the open-source EasyERP, so if you searched for EasyERP, check which one you mean:
| Name | Who is behind it | What it is | Status on 30 Sep 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| EasyERP (this page) | Open-source project, easyerp.com, Ukraine | Node.js and MongoDB ERP, CRM and HR for small businesses | Abandoned; website offline |
| Eazy ERP | Eazy ERP Technologies, India (eazyerp.com) | ERP for manufacturing and trading companies that runs finance either in its own module or through Tally | Live |
| EasyERP Malaysia | Searchneasy, Malaysia (searchneasy.com) | ERP for SMEs; its own FAQ puts typical projects at RM10,000 to RM150,000 or more | Live |
| Easy ERP Solutions | A company in Dhaka, Bangladesh (easyerpsolution.com) | Cloud point of sale, inventory and accounting; plans listed from BDT 1,000 a month | Live |
| Easy ERP (Android app) | VASTbit Ltd. | App for managing work, customers and email; 50+ downloads | Live; last updated 4 December 2025 |
| easyerp.ai | Not stated on the site | Not an ERP: the domain serves an AI character chat and roleplay website | Not ERP software |
Features
EasyERP covered CRM and sales, projects, HR and payroll, purchasing, inventory, expenses and accounting, plus connectors for online stores. The table lists each module as EasyERP itself described it, checked against its screenshots and source code. Where the vendor gave no detail, we say so rather than guess.
| Module | What it did | Source |
|---|---|---|
| CRM and sales | Leads, a kanban pipeline of opportunities, persons and companies, quotations, orders, invoices, proforma invoices and invoice ageing | Sales menu in the screenshot below |
| Projects | Projects, contract jobs, planning, tasks and time cards; projects typed as fixed price or time and material | Project menu in the screenshot below |
| HR and payroll | Employee records, hiring and attendance, with a separate payroll menu | Vendor homepage; screenshot |
| Purchasing | Purchasing process, over-stock and out-of-stock control, and landed costs | Vendor homepage |
| Inventory | All inventory in one place, automatic stock sync and multiple warehouses. The pricing page also listed MRP, but the vendor never described how its planning worked, so we make no claim about it. | Vendor homepage and pricing page |
| Expenses | Expense recording and an approval process | Vendor homepage |
| Accounting | An accounting module tied to sales and purchasing; the vendor described it only in general terms | Vendor homepage |
| E-commerce | Connectors for Shopify, Magento and Etsy; the code also bundles a WooCommerce API client | Vendor homepage; package.json |
| Reports | Dashboards and reports | Pricing page |
Some Screenshots of EasyERP
The demo data in these screenshots is a software agency’s own pipeline, mostly iOS and Android app projects, which matches the vendor’s description of EasyERP as a system for small service and e-commerce businesses.
Pricing
EasyERP no longer sells anything. Its last published price list, archived from easyerp.com in November 2020 and identical to the screenshot below, had three options:
| Edition | Price | What it included |
|---|---|---|
| Open source (labelled Beta Version by the vendor) | Free | Standalone version from GitHub: CRM and sales, purchases and expenses, MRP and inventory, HR and accounting, e-commerce integrations, reports and dashboards |
| Cloud SaaS ERP | $75 a month plus $12 per user per month | Everything in open source, plus 24/7 chat and phone support, customisation and implementation |
| Standalone support | $12 per user per month, or $120 per user per year | Support and bug fixes for a self-hosted install, with one year of ongoing support included |

Worked example: the SaaS formula gives $99 a month for 2 users, which the homepage advertised as 99$/month and the slider above rounds to $100. Ten users came to $195 a month and 25 users to $375. Because every plan is discontinued, treat these as history, not as a quote.
Can you still install EasyERP from GitHub?
Yes, the code is still downloadable, but it is not safe to run with real business data. We tested the install path on 30 September 2026 without running the application itself:
- The README asks for Node.js 4.0 or later, MongoDB 3.0 or later and the latest redis-server, then
npm iandbower i. Both of those database and runtime versions have been unsupported since 2018. - Dependency resolution fails under current npm (10.7): a development tool, grunt-modernizr, points to a GitHub download of Modernizr’s customizr that now returns 404. Resolving the production packages alone succeeds.
- The sample databases in
dump.ziplog in assuperAdminwith the password111111, as the README states. Change that before the server is reachable by anyone else. npm auditagainst the repository’s ownpackage-lock.json, production packages only, reports 113 vulnerable packages out of 510: 32 critical, 57 high, 18 moderate and 6 low. Nine have no fixed version at all.
Four of those advisories sit in the core of the application:
| Package (version EasyERP locks) | Its job in EasyERP | Advisory | Fix available |
|---|---|---|---|
| swig 1.4.2 | Renders every HTML page (set as the view engine in app.js) | CVE-2023-25345: arbitrary local file read during template rendering | None. The npm registry marks swig: This package is no longer maintained |
| mongoose 4.13.7 | Every database read and write | CVE-2023-3696: prototype pollution, rated critical | Only in a later major version |
| nodemailer 2.6.4 | Sends email | CVE-2020-7769: command injection, rated critical | Only in a later major version |
| underscore 1.8.3 | General utility library | CVE-2021-23358: arbitrary code execution, rated critical | Only in a later major version |
Fixing these means major-version upgrades across the database layer, the email layer and the template engine, and the template engine has no maintained successor at all. In practice that is a rewrite. EasyERP’s code is useful to study, or to fork under its permissive MIT licence, but for running a business choose one of the maintained systems below.
Pros and Cons of EasyERP

Pros
- MIT licence: you may fork, change and even resell the code with almost no conditions.
- One language end to end: JavaScript on the server and in the browser, which suits a team of web developers.
- Broad scope for a free system: CRM, projects, HR and payroll, purchasing, inventory, expenses and accounting in one application.
- Store connectors for Shopify, Magento and Etsy, plus a WooCommerce client in the code.

Cons
- Abandoned: no commits since January 2018, no releases, and the vendor’s website is offline.
- Unpatched dependencies: 32 critical advisories in its production packages, nine of them with no fix.
- Obsolete runtime: built for Node.js 4 and MongoDB 3.0, both unsupported since 2018.
- No support: the paid SaaS and support plans no longer exist, and the vendor labelled even its open-source edition a Beta Version.
- Thin documentation: the only install guide is a short README.
Alternatives
Every ERP in this table had a code commit in the two weeks before 30 September 2026. None of them is a Node.js application, so moving from EasyERP means migrating your data, not upgrading the code.
| Open-source ERP | Language | Licence | Latest commit | GitHub stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Odoo Community | Python | LGPLv3 | 30 Sep 2026 | 54,757 |
| ERPNext | Python | GPLv3 | 30 Sep 2026 | 39,679 |
| Dolibarr | PHP | GPLv3 | 30 Sep 2026 | 7,673 |
| metasfresh | Java | GPLv2 | 30 Sep 2026 | 2,435 |
| Apache OFBiz | Java | Apache 2.0 | 30 Sep 2026 | 1,125 |
| Axelor Open Suite | Java | AGPLv3 | 17 Sep 2026 | 979 |
| iDempiere | Java | GPLv2 | 30 Sep 2026 | 664 |
| LedgerSMB | Perl | GPLv2 | 29 Sep 2026 | 570 |
| Tryton | Python | GPLv3 | 22 Sep 2026 | 226 |
| BlueSeer | Java | MIT | 27 Sep 2026 | 172 |
For EasyERP’s own territory, a small business that wants CRM, inventory, HR and accounting in one open-source system, Odoo Community and ERPNext have by far the largest communities. Dolibarr is the main PHP option. If you chose EasyERP for its store connectors, check each candidate’s connector for your specific platform before you migrate.
inoERP, which older lists (including an earlier version of this page) named as an EasyERP alternative, has had no commit since 28 June 2023. For hosted commercial systems, see our list of ERP software.
FAQs
From where can EasyERP be downloaded?
Only from GitHub, at github.com/EasyERP/EasyERP_open_source, where the code is still public under the MIT licence. The official website easyerp.com has been offline since February 2025, so there is no installer, trial or paid download any more. EasyERP is a Node.js server application that you run yourself and open in a browser; it was never a Windows or Mac desktop program.
What is the programming language used to develop?
JavaScript throughout. The server runs on Node.js with the Express framework, stores data in MongoDB through Mongoose and renders pages with the Swig template engine. The browser side uses Backbone.js and jQuery. The README asks for Node.js 4.0 or later, MongoDB 3.0 or later and Redis.
Is EasyERP still available?
No. On 30 September 2026 easyerp.com returned a server error (HTTP 522), the last code commit in the GitHub repository was dated 26 January 2018, and the hosted SaaS edition could no longer be bought. The source code can still be downloaded, but nobody maintains it or ships security fixes.
Is easyerp.ai the same as EasyERP?
No. On 30 September 2026 easyerp.ai served an AI character chat and roleplay website with no ERP software on it. We found no connection between it and the open-source EasyERP project, whose domain was easyerp.com.
How much did EasyERP cost?
The open-source edition was free. The hosted SaaS edition cost $75 a month plus $12 per user per month, which is $99 a month for 2 users and $195 for 10. Paid support for a self-hosted install cost $12 per user per month or $120 per user per year. None of these plans is sold today.
What is the best alternative to EasyERP?
For the same small-business scope of CRM, inventory, HR and accounting, Odoo Community and ERPNext are the most-starred maintained open-source ERPs on GitHub, with 54,757 and 39,679 stars on 30 September 2026. Dolibarr is the main PHP option. None of them runs on Node.js, so switching means migrating your data, not upgrading EasyERP.
How we checked this page
We did not rely on other review sites, several of which still describe EasyERP as a current product. On 30 September 2026 we:
- requested easyerp.com and read the Internet Archive’s full capture history for it;
- read both EasyERP repositories through the GitHub API: branches, commits, licence, README, package.json, bower.json, app.js and the Android app’s build file;
- ran
npm audit(npm 10.7) against the repository’s own package-lock.json with development packages excluded, and opened four of the advisories in the GitHub Advisory Database; - checked the Node.js and MongoDB end-of-life dates on their publishers’ own schedules;
- visited every product in the name comparison; and
- read the latest commit and licence file of every alternative on GitHub.
We did not run EasyERP itself, so this page makes no claims about its speed or usability.
Conclusion
EasyERP was a genuinely free, MIT-licensed, all-JavaScript ERP for small online and service businesses, and its hosted plan was cheap at $75 a month plus $12 per user. It stopped changing in 2018 and its website has since gone dark. Its code is still worth reading if you want to see how a Node.js ERP was put together. To run a business, start with Odoo Community, ERPNext or Dolibarr, or compare more options in our list of ERP software.
